FLAGSTAFF, Ariz. — Another round of snow is headed for Arizona and gusty winds will accompany snowfall Wednesday night into Thursday morning, according to the National Weather Service.

Wind gusts could reach 70 mph
Wind gusts could reach 70 mph in some locations near Springerville and Alpine. Show Low and Heber-Ovargaard could see gusts around 50-55 mph. Flagstaff and Sedona should expect 25-35 mph gusts.
The winds could cause power outages and blow around unsecured items Wednesday evening into Thursday morning.
Snow down to 3,500 feet
Snow is expected to begin late Wednesday night and will continue into Thursday morning. Springerville and Alpine could see 6-8 inches of snow while Flagstaff will pick up another 3-4 inches.
Accumulating snow is expected down to 3,500 feet. NWS expects the most intense period of snow to happen Thursday morning into Thursday afternoon.
Hazardous driving conditions
If traveling is absolutely necessary during a storm, officials strongly suggest packing a supply kit.
The Arizona Department of Transportation (ADOT) can have up to 200 plows and 400 operators on the highways during a storm.
The City of Flagstaff and Coconino County take care of the local roads.
"Storm preparations start really months and months ago," Coconino County Department of Emergency Management Deputy Director Tim Carter said.
Carter told 12News state and local agencies monitor all winter storms closely despite the size.
