FLAGSTAFF, Ariz. — The workweek continued Tuesday with snow flurries and rain showers across Arizona.
After a stormy weekend, the wet weather still made its presence felt for another round of winter-like weather.
The National Weather Service began issuing Special Weather Statements for Yavapai County around noon. Officials said residents could expect wind gusts of 40 miles per hour and half-inch size hail.
Areas near Camp Verde, Verde Lake and McGuireville experienced the stormy conditions.
Storms continued to move through Arizona across Apache County into the afternoon. 12News viewer Charlene Crandall captured this video of thundersnow and hail near Lakeside, Arizona.
Around 2 p.m., the NWS reported conditions could produce a landspout tornado. As of this writing, no tornadoes were reported in the area.
FORECAST: Is the snow and rain going to continue?
The Valley experienced mostly cloudy skies with the occasional stray shower. Most of the action was reserved for northern Arizona on Tuesday.
We will continue tracking current weather conditions as the storm treks across Arizona. Stay tuned to 12news.com for the latest weather updates.
