PHOENIX — The accolades continue to roll in this week for Arizona Cardinals quarterback Kyler Murray.
Fresh off of having his jersey and game ball sent to the Pro Football Hall of Fame, Murray was just voted the FedEx Air NFL Player of the Week for Week 2.
In Arizona's win over the Los Angeles Rams, Murray posted a perfect 158.3 passer rating and threw for 266 yards and three touchdowns.
He also rushed for 59 yards on five carries.
According to a release from the Cardinals, Murray joined former quarterback Kurt Warner as the only two players in franchise history to finish a game with a “perfect” passer rating.
As the Week 2 winner of the award, FedEx will work with the Thurgood Marshall College Fund to make a $2,000 donation in Murray’s name to Historically Black Colleges and Universities.
Up next for the Cardinals will be a home matchup with the Detroit Lions. Kick-off is at 1:25 p.m.
