PHOENIX — The Arizona Cardinals are one of the hottest teams in the NFL and they have the awards to prove it.

After a dominating performance against the New York Jets, the team announced Wednesday that quarterback Kyler Murray was named the NFC Offensive Player of the Week.

According to the Cardinals, this is Murray's sixth "Offensive Player of the Week" award. This gives him the most "Player of the Week" selections in team history, ahead of Kurt Warner, Chandler Jones and Patrick Peterson with five.

Murray completed 22 of 24 passes for 266 yards and a touchdown in the victory over New York. He also ran for two touchdowns and completed his final 17 pass attempts, setting a new Cardinals record for consecutive completions.

This is the second consecutive week an Arizona player earned “Player of the Week” after punter Blake Gillikin was named “Special Teams Player of the Week” following the Cardinals' win vs. Chicago in Week 9.

It's the first time since 2021, during Weeks 1-3, that the Cardinals have had a "Player of the Week" in consecutive weeks.
