National anthem, flyover and first pitch info: World Series Game 4 news and notes

The Rangers take on the D-backs at Chase Field Tuesday. Here's a look at who is performing the national anthem, throwing the first pitch and more.

PHOENIX — Arizona Diamondbacks fans are embracing the chaos as the World Series returns to Chase Field. The D-backs lost a close game in Game 3, but the team looks to rebound Tuesday night.

Here's a breakdown of everything you need to know about Game 4 of the 2023 World Series.

Who will sing the national anthem?

The national anthem will be performed by Mickey Guyton. She is a four-time Grammy nominee and 2022 Time Breakthrough Artist of the Year. Guyton made history as the first Black artist to earn a Grammy nomination for Best Country Album.

Is there going to be a flyover for Game 4?

Before Game 4, the 924th Fighter Group from Davis Monthan Air Force Base will participate in a flyover with four A-10’s.

Will the roof be open?

According to the D-backs, the roof at Chase Field will be open, weather permitting.

When is first pitch?

Game 4 will start Tuesday evening at 5:03 here at Chase Field. Masters champion and ASU alum Jon Rahm is set to throw out the ceremonial first pitch. The game will be broadcast on the Fox network.

Tickets for the game are sold out, but fans can still purchase tickets through third-party resellers like SeatGeek.
