Vote here for the Friday Night Fever Week 3 Sweet Play of the Week

Three more plays were nominated to become the Sweet Play of the Week and earn a shot at a $5,000 scholarship. Watch the plays and vote for the best here!

PHOENIX — It is time once again to vote for the Friday Night Fever Sweet Play of the Week! 

As a reminder, every week on Friday Night Fever, we will show you the top three plays from that week in high school football, which we call "Sweet Plays". Then it will be time for you to go online to 12News.com/Fever and vote for your favorite to become the Sweet Play of the Week! 

At the end of the season, all of the weekly winners will contend for a $5,000 scholarship, courtesy of Sweet James Accident Attorneys.

Week 3 Sweet Play of the Week nominees 

  1. 65-yard pick six by Mesa's Griffen Yamamoto
  2. Blocked field goal that was returned for a 90-yard touchdown by Benjamin Franklin's Talan Speir 
  3. 66-yard touchdown run by Brophy's Case Vanden Bosch

Arizona sports

The Valley hosts multiple major sporting events every year, including college football's Fiesta Bowl and Guaranteed Rate Bowl; the PGA Tour’s highest-attended event, the WM Phoenix Open; NASCAR events each spring and fall, including Championship Weekend in November; and Cactus League Spring Training for 15 Major League Baseball franchises.
