2024 WM Phoenix Open: Everything you need to know

The "People's Open" is back again and golf fans are ready to descend on the TPC Scottsdale for another week of exciting golf action!

SCOTTSDALE, Ariz. — Get ready, golf fans. Open week has returned.

The 2024 WM Phoenix Open is teeing off this week and the golf world is set to descend on Scottsdale.

From Feb. 5 through Feb. 11, fans will make their way to the TPC Scottsdale Stadium Course to enjoy some great golf festivities. The first round is set to begin Thursday morning, but events start on Monday.

The grass parking lots will be closed on Friday, Feb. 9 following heavy rain.

Before you go

If you want to check out the action this weekend and haven't already purchased tickets, you might be out of luck. Tournament officials announced last week that general admission tickets for Friday and Saturday are officially sold out.

Yes, you can bring umbrellas to the event. Officials said they just need to be out of the sleeve and must go through security.

Heading to the event

Be sure to plan ahead and allow for plenty of time when you head out. Traffic is expected to be heavy around the golf course and surrounding areas as large crowds and construction delays are anticipated.

Officials said some parking options have changed since last year. For a detailed map of parking locations, head over to the official WM Phoenix Open website.

If you are planning on taking a rideshare to the event, the rideshare lot is located at the Lot R/Bell Rd Sports Complex at 94th Street north of Bell Road. Fans can enter at Pima and Trailside to 91st Street.

Don't forget, the WM Phoenix Open has a clear bag policy.

Get ready for rain

Forecasts are calling for heavy rain chances Tuesday through Friday, so if you are going to the tournament, be sure to dress accordingly and pack a raincoat or poncho. It's going to be a little damp.

Pro-Am players

The 2024 WM Phoenix Open Annexus Pro-Am is being held Wednesday, Feb. 7 at TPC Scottsdale. Some of the celebrities expected to play in this year's event are Larry Fitzgerald, Nick Saban and Emmitt Smith.
