GLENDALE, Ariz. — JD Vance, the running mate of former President Donald Trump, was in Arizona on Wednesday.
Vance campaigned in Glendale at Arizona Christian University in front of a packed room of supporters.
Vance was joined by Kari Lake, who just won the GOP nomination for U.S. Senate in Arizona, beating out Mark Lamb.

Both of the Republicans were looking to gain momentum for the GOP campaign.
“It’s gonna start in Arizona and run like wildfire all over the country,” said Vance.
Vance said he is concerned for the future of our country in his speech and said the American dream is under threat.
“The best way to give kids that way of life is the reelection of Donald Trump as President of the United States,” said Vance. “I want to talk a little bit about just the American dream because it is under threat in our country and when I talk about going from a poor family in Ohio to standing up here in front of all of you, what a great example of what this country makes possible. And I’m here asking to be your next vice president of the United States,” said Vance.
Vance called presumptive Democratic presidential candidate Kamala Harris a “disaster” in his address.
“Kamala Harris is such a disaster for the dreams we have are for our country and for our families, they are on the ballot in November and this is why we have got to reelect Donald J. Trump president of the United States,” Vance said.
Harris is also expected to visit Arizona late next week. The visit will come just days after Harris announces her pick for vice president, a campaign official has confirmed to 12News.
According to Politico, Harris will announce her running mate in Philadelphia Tuesday. After which she will make trips to not only to Arizona but other swing states: Georgia, Michigan, South Carolina and Wisconsin.
