PHOENIX — Another politician will be stopping in Arizona less than two weeks before the election.
Minnesota Governor and Democratic vice presidential nominee Tim Walz is among a growing list of people visiting State 48 before the election. Walz will be in Arizona to hold a campaign event on Saturday, the campaign confirmed to 12News on Monday evening.
Location details have yet to be announced.
Walz is one of many visiting Arizona in the days leading up to the election. Last week Former President Barack Obama campaigned for Democratic presidential nominee Kamala Harris and this week Republican vice presidential nominee JD Vance will be in the Valley campaigning for Former President and Republican presidential nominee Donald Trump.
President Joe Biden will be in Arizona this week campaigning for Harris, as well. The president will be delivering remarks at the Gila River Indian Community during his visit there on Friday.
