PHOENIX — A second ground stop was issued at Sky Harbor airport Thursday after rain and storms pounded the Phoenix metro area.
The second ground stop was issued at 12:45 p.m. for departures due to low ceilings, according to the FAA. It was lifted at 2 p.m.
Flights into the airport faced a short ground stop early Thursday because of weather.
The FAA said incoming flights are still delayed by around 20 minutes.
