QUEEN CREEK, Ariz. — Some of the suspects accused of being involved in murdering 16-year-old Preston Lord allegedly admitted to hurting the teenager shortly after the brutal assault in Queen Creek, according to a new 1,162-page report released by police.

Talan Renner, 17, Talyn Vigil, 17, William Owen Hines, 18, Dominic Turner, 20, Taylor Sherman, 19, Treston Billey, 18, and Jacob Meisner, 17, are all facing felony charges for their alleged involvement in Lord's death.
The lengthy report released Thursday by police contains interviews with several witnesses who claim to have heard the suspects make suspicious statements on the night Lord was assaulted.
One of the suspects told police that Renner allegedly said, “I might have hospitalized that kid, I hit him pretty hard."
A witness told investigators they recalled seeing Hines "freaking out" and hearing Billey state, "I was the last person to kick him."
In an interview with police, Hines allegedly said Billey was "extremely shaken up" after the group ran from the neighborhood party where the assault occurred.
The police report makes several mentions of the alleged Gilbert Goons group and its connection to Lord's death. Several people contacted police during the investigation, claiming they suspected the Goon members might be involved.
"(Caller) stated the Gilbert Goons have been terrorizing the community and many don't feel safe," the police report states. "She advised the Gilbert Goons go around and look at attacking people in different places."
Queen Creek PD has also released several 911 calls made on the night Lord was beaten, which illustrate how residents and bystanders tried to assist the injured teen.
"He's been unconscious for like two minutes," the 911 caller states. "We need people over here."
