GLENDALE, Ariz. — Police have identified the man found dead in Glendale earlier this month as 30-year-old Grant Siefert.
Siefert's body was discovered shirtless in a water retention area near 56th and Peoria avenues on Monday, Nov. 11. He'd been reported missing out of Phoenix the day before.
Investigators believe that Siefert's death was a homicide. It's believed that the people involved took Siefert's vehicle: a black, four-door, 2011 Ford Escape with an Arizona temporary license plate “392635U.”
It is unclear if Seifert knew the person or people who killed him, Glendale police said.
It is unclear if he was killed at the site where he was found or if he had been left there.
