CASA GRANDE, Ariz. — It has been six days since an altercation turned into a shooting at a party at a vacant house in Casa Grande, which resulted in the death of 17-year-old Hailey Stephens.
In the days since a total of nine arrests have been made in connection with the case, including two more on Saturday.
Casa Grande Police announced that a 13-year-old boy and a 15-year-old boy were both taken into custody and are being booked into the Pinal County Juvenile Detention Center.
Police say that the two teens will be charged with Felony Murder.
All of this stems from a shooting at a house party, which Casa Grande Police officers were called to just after 1 a.m. on November 26.
Police say an altercation between an unknown number of partygoers took place and resulted in shots being fired.
Stephens and another 17-year-old girl were both shot. They were both innocent bystanders, who were hit by stray bullets.
Stephens died from her injuries, but the other girl is expected to recover.
A 16-year-old boy from Casa Grande, a 17-year-old boy from Coolidge, another teenage boy from Coolidge and 18-year-old Jesiah Amaru Street from Coolidge have been charged with murder in this case. Street turned himself into the Casa Grande Public Safety Facility around 7 p.m. on Wednesday and was booked into the Pinal County Adult Detention Center on a possible second-degree murder charge.
Four other teenage boys have been charged with criminal trespassing in this case.
