The free family-friendly event will begin at dusk on Fridays in October.

TEMPE, Ariz. — Movies in the Park is returning to Tempe just in time for fall.

The free, family-friendly event will start at dusk on Fridays in October at Kiwanis Park. At approximately 6 p.m., grab a blanket, a picnic and your pals to go to the north soccer field at Baseline Road and Ash Avenue.

If you come early, you can reserve your spot and hang out with the Tempe Play Mobile for fun pre-movie activities.

What movies will be playing on Fridays? Here's the lineup:

  • Oct. 4: Wonka (PG)
  • Oct. 11: The Goonies (PG)
  • Oct. 18: Casper (PG)
  • Oct. 25: Boo Bash Family Fall Festival with a showing of Hotel Transylvania (PG)
