A line of thunderstorms is producing strong winds stretching from Flagstaff to just north of Wickenburg.
Snow was falling in Flagstaff and the Arizona Department of Transportation deployed plows to clear the roads. ADOT warned of slick road conditions and traffic delays across central Arizona.
Over 4,100 APS customers are without power in the Prescott Valley area due downed power lines. Thousands in Camp Verde, Cottonwood, Chino Valley and Sedona are also without power.
The outages are expected to last into Tuesday morning.
Grand Canyon National Park experienced what they called an "ice storm," with ice coating the buildings and plats at the Grand Canyon Village Historic District.
High winds blew over signs outside the NCAA National Championship in Glendale at about 8:30 p.m.
