PHOENIX - Summer does not officially end until Sept. 22, but Phoenix has reached the average peak of summer heat.

The average high temperature in Phoenix from June 29 through July 13 is 107 degrees, which is the highest the average-high temperature in Phoenix reaches throughout the year.

From July 13 through Dec. 16, the average high temperature slowly falls until it bottoms out at 65 degrees from Dec. 16 through Dec. 30.

Keep in mind, this is talking about 30-year weather averages and not based on what will actually happen. The temperature will almost for sure be well above the 107 degree mark after July 13, but it gives us all hope that the summer heat is on the decline.
