Snow hits Flagstaff area again; driving conditions deteriorating

Another winter storm hit the Flagstaff area Friday afternoon, causing dangerous driving conditions.
A winter storm on Fri. Jan. 15, 2016 has made driving conditions more dangerous in parts of northern Arizona.

Another winter storm hit the Flagstaff area Friday afternoon, causing dangerous driving conditions.

The Arizona Department of Transportation closed I-40 westbound just west of Flagstaff around 1 p.m. due to a crash.

RADAR: Keep an eye on the storm with 12 News radar

The interstate reopened shortly later, but ADOT reported that traffic was still delayed.

ADOT also suggested drivers take it slow as the roads are particularly slick in this storm.

12 News meteorologist Dr. Matt Pace said the storm is moving southeast and the snow is expected to finish around 3 p.m. with 1-3 inches of accumulation.
