The flood-prone area at Greenway Road and I-17 is totally inaccessible with at least one car stranded.

State Route 89 south of Prescott has been closed in both directions due to downed trees.

NWS is warning of strong and severe storms rolling through central Arizona with gusting winds.

I-17 has been shut down in both directions due to flooding. Avoid the area. It's unknown when the highway will be reopened.

A flood warning is in effect for several hours in northern Phoenix and Glendale.
