PHOENIX — A weather system is spinning through our state this weekend, knocking our temperatures down around ten degrees below average and setting off spotty, light rain and snow showers in the higher terrain. The snow level will set up around 4,500 feet.
There is a low chance that showers will linger in the mountains through early next week.
In the meantime, the Valley should stay mostly dry, and it will just get caught up in a mix of sun and clouds.
A warming trend will spoil the Valley next week with abundant sunshine to start and partly cloudy skies to polish it off. By the end of the workweek, the Valley is on track to crack the 80s again.
