Temps staying at or above 110 as high pressure returns us to summer-like heat

PHOENIX — The Valley is under an excessive heat warning and a 12News Weather Impact Alert now through Sunday. All of Arizona will be above average by up to 15 degrees.

Daily records will likely get broken and reset in Phoenix for the next week! Each day through early next week is expected to reach or exceed 110 degrees and every time it does, it will be the latest 110 on record.

Monsoon officially ends on Monday but there are no storm chances in sight statewide. Sunshine has staying power in the extended forecast.

Another day of excessive heat ahead.
