YUMA, Ariz. — An earthquake in Mexico was felt in Yuma, Arizona Sunday morning.
A 4.9 magnitude earthquake hit approximately 11 kilometers from Delta, Baja California, Mexico at 11:22 a.m. May 12, according to data from the U.S. Geological Survey.
The Next California Earthquake, a film about California's present day earthquake risk, posted on Facebook that more than a dozen aftershocks have been picked up, including a magnitude 4.6 and a magnitude 4.1. The area has been "noticeably active" recently, the post said.
