MESA, Ariz. — Emergency crews in Mesa rescued a woman and her child from a car stranded in a flooded wash Monday morning, Superstition Fire and Medical said.
Intense rain in some parts of the Valley Monday morning caused flash flooding, especially in the East Valley near Mesa and Apache Junction.

Sky 12 was on scene to capture crews rescuing the woman from her car.
There are dozens of road closures in Apache Junction, currently, according to the Apache Junction Police.
No injuries have been reported.
If you cannot walk through the water, especially moving water, do not attempt to drive across it. Onefoot of water can cause a car to float.
