Here's how to become a storm spotter with the National Weather Service

If you're interested in becoming a trained storm spotter or want to brush up on your severe weather knowledge, there are a few remaining classes.

PHOENIX — The final countdown is on for Monsoon 2024. June 15 is the official start of the monsoon. 

If you're interested in becoming a trained storm spotter or want to brush up on your severe weather knowledge, there are a few remaining classes. These sessions are free and open to anyone.

The National Weather Service in Flagstaff is hosting one of their final classes of the season on Tuesday, June 4 at 6 p.m. at the Show Low Police Department; more information can be found here: https://www.weather.gov/fgz/skywarn
