Friday
Friday will be mostly sunny with a high near 59 degrees down in the Valley. Look forward to calm winds and bright conditions — a nice change of pace after rainy weather caused delays and cancellations at the WM Phoenix Open.
Rain and clouds will move back in Friday evening starting after sundown. 50% chance of showers after 1 a.m. as we move into Saturday.
Meanwhile, the High Country will get some snowfall after 11 a.m. Most of the day will be partly sunny with only about half an inch of snow expected in Flagstaff. More snow is expected to fall overnight.
Saturday
Showers are going to stick around through 11 a.m. in Phoenix and conditions will stay mostly cloudy throughout the day. NWS expects a tenth to a quarter of an inch of rain. However, the weather will be mostly clear by Saturday night.
The High Country is looking at more snow throughout the day but chances are going to drop from 70% to 20% moving into Saturday night. The wind chill will make it feel like 0 degrees outside after the sun goes down, so bundle up!
Sunday
And finally, the storm breaks and our wonderful weather returns. Both the Valley and the High Country are expected to be sunny all day with mild to chilly temperatures. After that, the week is going to hold with bright, clear weather.
