BUCKEYE, Ariz. — A woman is in the hospital after being struck by a semi-truck while trying to push her car off I-10, DPS officials said.
According to DPS, the crash happened around 2:28 a.m. on Sunday near milepost 115 near Buckeye.
The woman was in the process of pushing her car off the highway when the semi-truck hit her. Officials said that she is currently in serious condition.

At this time, DPS has not released details about what led up to the crash or confirmed if impairment played a role.
Although eastbound lanes were closed for some time, they have since reopened.
