PHOENIX — Police are looking for a truck involved in a crash that left a bicyclist dead in south Phoenix.
Phoenix police responded to the area near 16th Street and Buckeye Road for a crash involving a bicyclist on Saturday night. When officers got there, they found a bicyclist with serious injuries and later died at the hospital.
Police said the vehicle left the area before police got there.
Detectives said that the vehicle involved in the crash was traveling north on 16th Street when it hit the bicyclist and continued driving north.
Police said the vehicle is a light colored truck. Anyone with information is asked to call Silent Witness at 480 (WITNESS) or 480 (TESTIGO) and provide an anonymous tip. Rewards will be paid for information leading to an arrest in this case, police said.
