PEORIA, Ariz. — A portion of US 60 in Peoria and Glendale will be closed for several hours due to a serious crash, officials said Saturday afternoon.
The closure on US 60 includes the eastbound lanes at 75th Avenue. The westbound lanes at 67th Avenue were also closed but have now reopened.
Officials are investigating the two-car crash that closed the roadway. Impairment is a possible factor, police said.
Southeast US 60 is still open.
Peoria police are advising drivers to plan an alternate route. There is no estimated time of reopening.
