PHOENIX — One of the people injured in a multi-vehicle car crash in central Phoenix is a pregnant mother, police said.
Phoenix firefighters were dispatched for the reports of a multi-vehicle crash near Van Buren and 32nd Streets around 2 p.m. When crews arrived at the scene, they found a two vehicle accident.
A total of four people were transported to the hospital:
A woman in her 40s, in critical condition
A woman in her 60s, in critical condition
A boy, in critical condition
A woman in her 20s, in stable condition
All of the people transported to the hospital are expected to survive, including the pregnant mother and unborn child.
The incident was turned over to the Phoenix Police Department for investigation. The scene was cleared, but police said what led to the crash remains part of the investigation.
The identities of those injured in the crash were not released, police said.
