PAYSON, Ariz. — A semi-fire has closed State Route 87 between the Valley and Payson, according to the Arizona Department of Transportation (ADOT).
The fire is near milepost 212, ADOT said.

ADOT said the roadway is closed in both directions.
The fire sparked a brush fire in the area.
There is no estimate for when State Route 87 will reopen.
