PAYSON, Ariz. — A section of State Route 87 south of Payson has reopened after a five-hour closure Friday afternoon.
The closure was to allow workers to clear the roadway of debris after a boom truck veered off the roadway, according to the Arizona Department of Transportation.
The Arizona Department of Public Safety said the truck hit a guardrail Thursday night. No other vehicles were involved in the crash and no injuries were reported.
