SELIGMAN, Ariz. — As of roughly 9:00 a.m., Interstate 40 eastbound has been reopened.
I-40 eastbound was temporarily closed at mile marker 132 past Seligman after a semi-truck crashed, the Arizona Department of Transportation confirmed.
Officials said that a semi-truck with a trailer fully loaded with potatoes rolled over on the roadway.
No injuries have been reported and officials estimate the road will be cleared in a minimum of two hours.
At this time, there is no word on if the Arizona heat will bake the potatoes, or if they were mashed in the crash.
ADOT was not able to provide photos of the potato-covered roadway.
