The Sedona Shuttle Connect is public transit on-demand, providing service to most of the city limits, Thursday through Sunday.

SEDONA, Ariz. — A brand-new public transit option for both tourists and residents is headed to Sedona.

Meet the Sedona Shuttle Connect, an eco-friendly way to travel within city limits from Thursday through Sunday. The shuttle connect links up with the Sedona Shuttle trailhead service, too, making it a great addition for hikers and bikers.

Getting a ride on the service won't cost you much. A regular fare is just $2. There is a discounted fare of $1 for people 60 years old or older, people with disabilities, veterans, Medicare card holders and ACCCHS card holders. Children 5 years old and younger ride for free, as long as they are with an adult.

Sedona Shuttle says riders need to make sure to have exact change if they plan to pay for their fare with cash.

The Sedona Shuttle Connect will work as an on-demand public transit service, meaning you will have to request a ride.

There are two ways to do that. You can either download the TransLoc app or call (928) 203-5152.

It will run Thursdays through Sundays from 6:30 a.m. to 6 p.m., during spring break and on some holidays.

You can learn more about the Sedona Shuttle Connect service at the Sedona Shuttle website.
