Scottsdale crash involving golf cart and vehicle injures multiple people, road closed for investigation

Two people were transported to the hospital with life-threatening injuries, police say.

SCOTTSDALE, Ariz. — Two people are seriously injured following a crash between a vehicle and a golf cart on Saturday in Scottsdale, police said. The area is closed for investigation. 

Scottsdale police responded to a collision involving a vehicle and a golf cart on Saturday near Oak Street and Scottsdale Road just after 2 a.m. Police said multiple people reported injuries and were treated on scene by Scottsdale Fire.

Two people were transported to a local hospital with life threatening injuries, police said. Detectives are still at the scene and the road is closed. 

Police did not release the identities of those who were injured or the cause of the crash.
