Bicyclist fighting for their life after crash near Old Town Scottsdale

The collision happened near 78th Street and Indian School Road, just east of Old Town Scottsdale on Friday. Here are the latest details.

SCOTTSDALE, Ariz. — A bicyclist is in a Valley hospital fighting for their life after a crash involving a motorcycle, according to Scottsdale police

Police said the crash happened at the intersection of 78th Street and Indian School Road. That intersection is just east of Old Town Scottsdale. 

The bicyclist was taken to the hospital with life-threatening injuries. 

Eastbound Indian School Road is currently closed from Miller Road to 78th Street as police investigate the crash. The road is expected to be closed for the next several hours, according to police. 

Police have not identified anyone involved in the crash and have not yet said what caused the collision.
