PEORIA, Ariz. — A person was killed Wednesday after they were struck by a car in Peoria.
The crash happened near 91st and Olive avenues around 8 p.m. Police say the pedestrian was jaywalking when the car collided with them.
Police have not identified the victim.
The driver stayed at the scene and is cooperating with police.
The area will be closed off for several hours.
