PHOENIX — A man was rushed to the hospital in extremely critical condition Monday night after he was by a car.
The crash happened near 35th Avenue and Deer Valley Road around 7 p.m. Police say the driver was traveling east when the car collided into the pedestrian.
The victim, only identified as an adult man, was transported to a nearby hospital.
The driver stayed at the scene and is cooperating with investigators. Police say they’ve ruled out speed and impairment as factors for the crash.
