GILBERT, Ariz. — A crash involving a pedestrian temporarily closed the westbound lane of Loop 202 Santan, according to authorities.
The Arizona Department of Transportation said the crash is at Higley Road, near milepost 39, in Gilbert.
According to the Arizona Department of Public Safety, the collision is being investigated as a hit-and-run.
ADOT said motorists should expect delays and seek an alternate route.
Traffic was being diverted off at Higley as the crash was investigated.
The westbound lanes reopened at around 11:30 p.m., DPS said.
The eastbound lanes are unaffected.

Individuals who submit tips that lead to an arrest or indictment in the case can get a reward of up to $1,000.
