North Scottsdale Loop 101 freeway ramp to close for up to 2 months

SCOTTSDALE, Ariz. — As the North Scottsdale loop 101 freeway widening project continues, the Arizona Department of Transportation will close a busy freeway on-ramp for reconstruction.

The northbound loop 101 on-ramp at Shea Boulevard will close at 1 a.m. April 15 and will remain closed for up to 60 days, according to ADOT.

The recommended detour by ADOT is shown in the image below:

  • Northbound Hayden Road to eastbound Cactus Road to reach the northbound loop 101 freeway
  • Northbound 92nd Street to westbound Cactus Road to reach the northbound loop 101 freeway
