Crash in New River injures 6 people

The crash happened at the intersection of 23rd Avenue and New River Road. Here are the latest details.

NEW RIVER, Ariz. — Six people are being treated for injuries after a crash involving multiple vehicles in New River on Saturday, according to Daisy Mountain Fire & Medical

The Maricopa County Sheriff's Office (MCSO) said two vehicles collided. The first vehicle had one person inside, who was taken to a nearby hospital with non-life-threatening injuries. The second vehicle had three children and two adults inside. The children were all taken to the hospital. The adults from the second car were treated at the scene and were waiting to be transported. 

Everyone in the second vehicle had non-life-threatening injuries as well. 

MCSO is investigating the cause of the crash.
