PHOENIX — A hit-and-run crash in north Phoenix left a motorcycle rider dead Thursday afternoon. Police are still searching for the other driver.
The crash happened Thursday afternoon around 5 p.m. near 13th Street and Thunderbird Road. Police believe that Katerina Penrose, 31, was riding westbound on Thunderbird Road when another vehicle turned out in front of her, leading to the crash.
When officers arrived, they found Penrose with serious injuries. First responders took her to the hospital where she later died.
The other vehicle drove away from the crash and police are still searching for the driver.
Investigations are still underway, and anyone with information is asked to contact Silent Witness to leave an anonymous tip.

Individuals who submit tips that lead to an arrest or indictment in the case can get a reward of up to $1,000.
