BUCKEYE, Ariz. — A man is injured following a skydiving incident in Buckeye, authorities say.
Buckeye Fire Medical Rescue Department and the Arizona Fire and Medical Authority were called to Palo Verde Drive in Buckeye for a skydiving incident on Saturday morning.
When they got to the scene, authorities found a man whose canopy collapsed somewhere between 20 to 40 feet above the ground leading to a "rapid, uncontrolled" landing, Buckeye fire said.
The man was taken to the hospital as a level one trauma patient.
No other information was given.
