Man dies after crash in north Phoenix

The man drove a vehicle and struck the wall of an apartment complex near Bell Road and 32nd Street, police said.

PHOENIX — A man is dead following a crash in a north Phoenix parking lot, police said.

Phoenix police officers responded to the area of Bell Road and 32nd Street regarding a crash where a vehicle hit the wall of a nearby apartment complex. When police got to the scene, they found the vehicle involved and the driver, later identified as 32-year-old Kelvin Perez. 

Police said the vehicle Perez drove struck a wall, as he was inside of the apartment complex. Perez did not have any visible injuries and was pronounced dead by the fire department at the scene, police said.

Police did not release any further information about the crash.
