PHOENIX — Drivers on Interstate 17 in Phoenix are dealing with a late-night headache, as a crash has closed the northbound lanes of the freeway, according to the Arizona Department of Transportation.
ADOT said the northbound lanes of I-17 are closed at 19th Avenue due to a crash at milepost 198.
The Arizona Department of Public Safety says the crash involved multiple vehicles and multiple people were hurt. All of their injuries are considered minor.
Drivers should expect delays in the area and find alternate routes to their destinations.
ADOT says they do not yet know when the northbound lanes of the freeway will reopen. The southbound lanes are not affected.
This is a developing story and more details will be added as they are made available.
