I-10 westbound ramp to I-17 northbound in Phoenix remains closed after crash involving semi-truck

The crash was reported early Saturday morning and authorities gave no estimated time of reopening.

PHOENIX — A crash involving a semi-truck at the westbound Interstate 10 ramp to Interstate 17 northbound in central Phoenix has closed the ramp, authorities say.

The crash involved two vehicles on Saturday morning, including a semi-truck and trailer that caught fire. Injuries have been reported but the Arizona Department of Public Safety said they do not appear to be life-threatening. 

AZDPS said one person has been detained and impairment was ruled out, but did not give any further details.

The westbound I-10 ramp to northbound I-17 is closed and authorities did not say when it would be reopened.
