PHOENIX — A vehicle fire producing heavy smoke has closed the right eastbound lanes of Interstate 10 in south Phoenix on Thursday afternoon, authorities said.
The Arizona Department of Transportation said a vehicle is on fire just after Baseline Road on I-10. There is no estimated time of reopening.
The semi-truck is "fully engulfed" in a fire, but the driver was able to get out, the Arizona Department of Public Safety said.
