PHOENIX — It was a post-holiday headache for drivers going north on I-17 Friday.
Drivers traveling on I-17 between Anthem and Black Canyon City experienced miles of heavy delays, according to the Arizona Department of Transportation.
Traffic was seen inching along on ADOT cameras in the area. ADOT said the heaviest traffic was between mileposts 228 and 241.
The southbound lanes were not affected.
ADOT officials suggest drivers download the AZ511 app for real-time traffic conditions.
