A rollover wreck in the East Valley has left 7 people with injuries and sent 2 of them to the hospital

The crash happened near Granite Reef Road and McDonald Drive in Scottsdale on Saturday. Here are the latest details.

SCOTTSDALE, Ariz. — A three-vehicle collision in Scottsdale on Saturday has left multiple people with injuries, according to Scottsdale police

The department told 12News that three cars collided and one of them rolled over at about 7:30 p.m. on Saturday near the intersection of McDonald Drive and Granite Reef Road. One person had to be extricated from their car. 

Police said in total, seven people were injured in the crash. Two of the victims had to be taken to the hospital.   

So far, all of the injuries reported by the victims of the crash have been non-life-threatening, according to police. 

The crash has caused police to close McDonald Drive between 86th Street and Granite Reef Road. Police have not said when they expect the road to reopen.  

No one involved in the crash has been identified.
