GLENDALE, Ariz. — One person was killed and five more have been transported to local hospitals after a collision involving a motorcycle and two cars on Grand Avenue near Glendale Avenue, police said.
A Nissan Altima was heading northwest on Grand when it strayed left of the centerline, police said. The car hit a Jeep Cherokee, a motorcycle and a Chevy Equinox.
A female passenger in the rear of the Altima was pronounced dead at the scene. Five other people involved were transported to local hospitals.
Speed and impairment are being investigated, but it is too early to tell if they were contributing factors to the collision.
