MESA, Ariz. — A four-vehicle crash has closed the US 60 near Val Vista Drive in Mesa for an unknown amount of time, officials said.
The HOV and left lanes of eastbound US 60 are currently closed, the Arizona Department of Transportation tweeted.
Those involved in the collision had non-life-threatening injuries and one person had to be extricated and taken to the hospital after being trapped for a short period of time, officials from the Arizona Department of Public Safety said.
Officials did not give an estimated time of when US 60 will reopen but said debris across multiple lanes will have the roadway closed for a while.
