Sellout crowd expected at D-backs game Wednesday night. Parking, bag policy, traffic details

The game is a complete sellout with just under 50,000 expected to attend – which means there will be a lot of traffic in and around the area.

PHOENIX — Postseason baseball returns to Chase Field in downtown Phoenix on Wednesday night as the Diamondbacks take on the Dodgers in game 3 of the NLDS.

The game is a complete sellout with just under 50,000 expected to attend – which means there will be a lot of traffic in and around the area.

Know before you go: 

  • First pitch: 6:07 p.m.
  • Gates open: 3:30 p.m.
  • Broadcast: TBS
  • Radio: Arizona Sports 98.7 FM

Traffic, parking

If you can, get parking ahead of time. Or, take the light rail. Trains run every 15-20 minutes and drop you off within walking distance of Chase Field.

Clear bags

Chase Field has a clear bag policy. No backpacks are allowed. Here's a list of what's approved

Lockers can be rented outside the stadium for items not allowed inside.
